What is the Chaplet of Divine Mercy?
Sister Faustyna Kowalska (1905-1938), was a polish nun, who had visions of Jesus during her lifetime. She was instructed to write down everything she experienced in her diary called "Divine Mercy in My Soul".
In one of these visions Jesus taught Faustyna a new prayer, called
"The Chaplet of Divine Mercy". To anyone who prays the Chaplet, even only once,
Jesus made several important promises.
Jesus said to Sr. Faustyna:
"Your task is to write down everything that I make known to you
about My mercy, for the benefit of those, who by reading these things, will be comforted in their souls and will have the courage to approach Me"
Diary verse1693
